The image is a small bit of a picture taken on the beach in Biosphere 2. The photo shows seawater in a plastic container. The water has an orange hue from the iron which had been added to precipitate viruses for study. This method for removing viruses from seawater started with an idea in grad school, so it was very cool to come across the method actually being used when I happened to go by on a tour of Biosphere 2 with my family. -Seth John
